Theme Planet is a gorgeous 3D animation that tells the story of a bunny who escaped from the clutches of a mad scientist who tried to enslave it. Created by Michael Sormann who is currently working as an art director at the Austrian computer game company Neo Software, Theme Planet is one of his most ambitious project undertaken.

Big Buck Bunny – Open Source Software Animation
Big Buck Bunny is a cool entertaining short animated film made using open source software by the Blender Institute. It shows how free software can create animation work that is comparable or even better than some high-level commercial product.
This film was officially released April 10th in Amsterdam. Big Buck Bunny was awarded a special mention from the jury of Cyborg Film Festival within the section animation. It opens an important reflection on the value of the open source and of the free software in the professional and commercial world.
