Upside Down Faces Illusion

Face Illusion 01
There is a saying that goes ‘there is always two sides to every story’, well I would have to say that there are two sides to every picture on this post. 5 more pics after the jump.

Eureka Carpark Illusion

Eureka Carpark 01
Interesting illusion of letters on the walls at the Eureka Tower Carpark in Melbourne that can be read perfectly at certain angles while looking distorted at other angles. Similar project are the Cardiff Bay and 3D room paint optical illusions. This car park project won several international design awards.

Melting Building Mural

This melting building mural is located in Georges V Ave. in Paris France. Trompe-l’oeil is an art technique involving extremely realistic imagery in order to create the optical illusion that the depicted objects really exist, instead of being just two-dimensional paintings. The name is derived from French for “trick the eye”, from tromper – to deceive and l’oeil – the eye.

Defaced Illustrations

The Ali Jabbar ‘Simple Public Figures’ art installation shows just how familiar we are with some of the world’s most powerful and infamous personalities.
This faceless artwork features the likes of Barack Obama, Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Marilyn Monroe, Larry King, and Mahatma Gandhi drawn without their eyes, noses or mouths. Still, without these distinguishing features, I’m sure you can identify every single subject from the Ali Jabbar ‘Simple Public Figures’ project.

Amazing Optical illusions

Take a very close look at this image. What do you see?
Can you see who's the tallest soldier?
 A courtyard or terrace?
 What do you see??
Do you see a Rabbit or a Duck?
How many faces can you find in this picture?
 Can you see mountains?
 How about now?
How many legs this elephant have?
What do you see in each picture after it is flipped...
look closely
